Well chiefs fans, FA day 1 is here and................ pioli went after a big name wr. And guess what? we lost out. Surprise, surprise.
In piolis defense he tried. But what about the others? We have so many holes to fill and pot loads of money. We heard that they went after Walter but he resigned with houston. But we did sign Battle,, big deal is close and cleaned up to what i was really wanted to type.
Same thing every year in FA, and as fast as clarkie is losing his fan base you`d think he would try harder.
There are o-lineman out there who are better than ours,not hard to do and afew other players. But we only go after the old washed up ones,goff,get better ones.
Pioli was sopose tobe this hot shot gm who can judge talent and isnt afraid to make big trades but all so far in 2 years is a watered down queen carl. Yes i said it, kill me if you want but he hasnt shown anything yet. Show me scotty im wrong. Show me after spending big bucks on a qb(?) that you are willing to spend to protect him, get him weapons to score with. Show me you are willing to fix a defense that cant stop a 6a high school team. Show me we have the talent to beat a good team that isnt down or half their team is hurt.
Do something instead of drafting a noname Jackson with the #3 pick. Or signing FA in the likes of goff.
I can go on but running out of words that canbe put on this board cleanly.

We need to spend some of that bank roll for sure, but it needs to be on players that will give us value for the money.

Well, Piloi finally starting to get some players. Thats great news. Even better they arent sitting on their butts about the o-line this year. Plus, we have a true NT. Maynot be the best but hes not a converted tackle to play it.
He even brought in a wr and a GOOD back to take some of the load off Charles.
Now comes the most important part,,, not messing up the draft.
This offseason has been pretty good so far. One of the best in years. Two good coaches and afew above average players.

It is very nice to see positive movement in the FA market!
