This was a tough game to take. While if you would have told me we would be in the game at the end at Houston I would have been real happy this one is one that will just stick with you the way this game was lost.

Positives
The offense 31 points ties the season high but for the first time this season I really think it was an complete offense. We made plays both in the air and on the ground and if we can get that effort that we got today for the rest of the season we are going to be a hard team to beat. :banghead:

negative
The defense. All season long they have been in the positive spot today they struggled. The offense did there part in today's game. The defense was a let down giving up 4tds in the 2nd half is going to get you beat every time.

The refs They hurt the Chiefs today on the final drive. They robbed Flowers of a chance to make a play. He was running right with the WR and was pushed and got a HORRIBLE flag on Flowers. That one hurt the chiefs there is no getting around that. But the chiefs had a chance to not even give the Texans the ball back and failed. And the D gave up 3 other TDs that hurt as well. I just hate seeing the refs hurt the Chiefs and on that play they did. That's going to be on my mind all week. :cuss:

Overall this week is one that just rips your Chiefs fan heart out. Tough loss with some controversy. We will just have to see how this team rebounds. :chieflogo:

and dont forget about the 3rd and 2 play on our last so called drive.
Yes, the refs really screwed that call on flowers but it shouldn`t have gotten that far.
Bowe was open on that play and watch the film cassel more than likely could have run for the first down.
Next, that was a 4 down drive. Haley should have known our defense couldn`t stop them. They haven`t all 4th and most of the 3rd quarters. Run the ball twice. 230 yards rushing, we could have picked up 2 more. Gotten that first down and one more and we get a win.
Cassel was doing ok up to that point but letting cassel decide games is worse than using a a rubber with the end missing in high school.

Gotta admit; that one has me confused.

I don't think punting the ball in that spot was a bad idea. Give your D at least a chance. But if we get that first down then they might not ever had gotten the ball back. That's one that I would not have been to upset either way. Even if we didn't get it on 4th down and they score we might have more time to work with since they would not have as long of a field to go . It was really just one huge letdown to let that one get away.
