Yet anther game loss that the Chiefs had the Chances to win. A couple of turnovers and mistakes coast the Chiefs a game that they very easily could have won.

While the Defense played well for the better part of the game they let the team down when it mattered most. The Bengals had the ball at their own 2 yard line and drove down the field for the winning score. Some may argue they were helped by a illegal contact call but even after that Bad call IMO they still could have stopped the Bengals. They couldn't get the job done and that's just proof that this is a team that is yet to learn to win. But there is improvement from a week ago. So all in all the defense was better and that's a start for this team. They have to learn to make the big stops at the end. Hopefully this is one of the last they give away.

The offense played well enough to win if not for mistakes. Charles continued to show that he can be a good NFL RB. He had his best run called back by penalty, that's something that has been all to common for this team. The thing that Charles does best is he keeps fighting; plenty of times he was held for what should have been losses but was able to make something out of nothing if only to get back to the line of scrimmage. But mistakes killed the offense as well. There were a couple of more drops that could have been first downs. Turnovers hurt as well. Like the defense this game showed that this offense has not yet learned to win games when it counts.

Coaching today was not a huge factor in the loss. I don't know that there's any questionable choices that Todd Haley made. That's something that is a good sign. This team was ready to play and they had there chances. They just showed that they have yet to learn to win. But the fact that they were in the game the whole way is going to help them learn. You have to lose games like this to build a team. Its just a step in the process. This is the 3rd straight game that was a touchdown or less. They just have to learn to win these games and they could be a decent team.

BRING ON THE DONKEYS, end their season. And GO CHIEFS!!!!!!! :chieflogo:

It's true that the night is darkest just before the dawn, but I think that Chiefs fans are increasingly loosing patience with this team's management.
