My ideal situation would see the league fine and suspend him, the team fine and suspend him, Hailey bench him for the remainder of the season and then for Clark Hunt to personally fire him (and hand him a box of diapers on the way out as a parting gift) the second the final whistle blows on game 16. I'm done with this sad, pathetic, spoiled cancerous baby. Charles is out there (making big mistakes, sure) playing his guts out. He's got a better YPC average (AIR), he's playing reciever, he's making huge hits on special teams and what is Larry doing? Attacking fans in a hateful, ignorant manner via twitter, insulting the coach and the organization that has invested in and supported him for years, spitting on women, and doing absolutely nothing to help put this team in a position to win a game. Dante was the X-factor, LJ is the 0-factor. As in, he factors ZERO (not at all) in the opposition's game plan. He's dead weight. I want him punished, and I want him gone.

Yeah, you got to know that any apology he issues has got to be team management imposed and not because he actually has remorse for what he said. I fully do not expect that his apology will be genuine; which is why I widely ignore him.

The chiefs are probably hoping the league will nail him so they wont have to.

I hadn't thought of that; it would let them off the hook - so to speak.

Or maybe the Chiefs are out to nail him hardcore and they want to see what the league does before piling their own punishment on top of it. Is that too much wishful thinking?
