Most Chiefs ticket prices will remain the same in 2010
By ADAM TEICHER
The Kansas City Star

Chairman Clark Hunt said the ticket prices would remain the same on the field and upper levels. Club-level season tickets are sold on a long-term contractual basis and are subject to annual price increases.

Field-level seats range in price on a seasonal basis through the four seating areas from $760 to $1,050. The per-game price ranges from $95 to $145, though a notice on the Chiefs Web site said single-game prices are subject to change.

Upper-level seats run on a seasonal basis from $250 to $780 through the five seating areas. The range is $30 to $83 on a per-game basis.

The home schedule for 2010 isn’t as attractive as it was in 2009. It includes games against only two 2009 playoff teams, San Diego and Arizona.

The other home opponents are Denver, Oakland, Jacksonville, San Francisco, Tennessee and Buffalo. Dates and times for all games will be announced in the spring.

As bad as they were one would think they would drop the prices. If they dont start winning next year they might have to to get people to come and watch.

I think that if they start winning then the ticket prices issue will take care of itself; the fact of the matter is that people are not going to purchase tickets regardless of their price to watch a team that can't win.

They are going to have to put a winning, contending product on the field in order to return Arrowhead to it's glory days IMO.
