If you were to write the President a letter what would you say?

The following is what I would write:

Dear President Obama,

Understanding that it is highly unlikely that you, yourself, will respond to this letter at all let alone with any semblance of actual imaginative thought originating from your own intellect, but I will, none the less and with respect, communicate to you in frank, straight forward terms my legitimate concerns over our nations lack of economic growth affecting us all who are not involved in national politics. I believe that you are an intelligent, brilliant political tactician who “gets it”. I believe that you understand that turning a blind eye to illegal immigration and providing them all with the rights and privileges as legitimate US citizens provides you and your party with sure votes while pandering to corporate America and powerful unions with cheap labor; which, by the way, is the reason the republicans have no interest in seeing our current immigration laws enforced either. I believe you understand that cramming Obama Care down the throats of the majority of Americans who do not want it in order to appease the entitlement class is your contribution to the ongoing class warfare being waged in America today. I believe that you understand that levying high taxes on corporate America is not a tax on corporate America at all but on the dwindling middle class because corporate America, who has all the tax loopholes anyway, will respond by laying more people off and moving their jobs a crossed the border or overseas and raise the price of their goods and services in order to protect their bottom line. I believe you understand that in order to bring about your perfect idea of a socialist, utopian society you will do everything in your power to destroy all that made America great by reducing this once great nation to a third world status. Well, you’ve done an excellent job.

If you are dedicated to seeing to it that proper immigration is adhered to, then why did you sue the state of Arizona for passing and enacting laws meant to aid the federal laws currently on the books that also insured the security of their own states borders? If Obama Care is so right for America then why is it that you and congress are not bound by it yourselves and that those of us which are employed, who get insurance through their employer will more than likely be made to pay more for less coverage? Why is it that the middle class is punished when Corporate America passes down the cost of increased taxes levied against them while the entitlement class is rewarded with more than a comfortable life style while doing nothing to earn it?

Answer: You get it; you understand your role.

I did not vote for you, or will I ever, but you are my President and as such I will pray for you because as a Christian my Bible instructs me to.

Your fellow American citizen,

Greg L. York
