This is one that the Chiefs had many a chances. Even some chances they didn't earn and still were not able to get the job done.

Negatives:
Kick coverage killed us with the return in the 2nd half that got them started
the running game was for the most part shut down.
D Bowe dropped anther big pass one that would have given the chiefs a first down and the ball game
The defense could not stop them at the end of the game or in OT.

Positives:
Not many
I thought Matt Cassel was a help to the team today. He made some passes and made some runs when there was nothing there.

I can only hope that this is a lesson that this team needed. The last two weeks they have not played well enough to beat most teams in the NFL but looseing to the faiders SUCKS

PRETENDERS. thats all i have to say. Well, maybe not.
We knew sooner or later the chiefs would have to depend on cassels arm. We knew this dink and donk passing game was gonna hurt. We knew for the last 3 games we played great defense the first half and really looked bad the 2nd half. We knew bowe cant catch,the special teams havent looked "special".
Today it all came back to haunt us. And what made it worst was acouple of million yards in flags.
The same old ? that has been asked since game one....why is jones getting more carries than charles. And we need 2 things on offense, a realable WR and a QB.
On defense the samething also, no constent pass rush. Our young CBs need help. Another no name wr made a name today.
Why is our defense looking so good the 1st half and looking so bad the 2nd?
Now its gonna be hard to win the west. Chargers and gaydrs are on a roll and we are not. I guess as long as there is below 500 teams we have a chance. Because i dont think we can win one against a 500 or better team.

Agreed; we are who we have always been. Because we have made some gains and employed Wiese and Crennel does not mean that we are suddenly playoff contenders; let alone SB contenders.
