After 1 week of football the Chiefs are back in 1st place in the AFC west.
This game was won by the defense and special team’s period. Arenes and McCluster both gave the chiefs great field position all night. And they put up the 7 points that ended up deciding the game.
The D made a turnover and held the Chargers to 14 points. Not to mention that at the end of the game with the game on the line they made the HUGE plays to seal up the win at the end. They were on the field most the game so the fact that they were able to do that is a big plus.
The offense was a HUGE disappointment. They went 3 and out WAY to often and left the D on the field. They CAN NOT do that if the Chiefs are going to be a winning football team. Outside of Charles huge run for a TD there was not much else. Maybe it was all the rain but they HAVE to play better football.
Overall I am Happy with what I saw on the football field. There were not many penalties and we held a top offense down in a REAL football game. Things are definitely heading up for the CHIEFS
