Yes, this was a very strong and good eagle defense but his throws have got tobe better. He still looks like he scared to throw down field. But his dump off passes look good.
But i think once the running game gets started with charles and jones, and should i include dex, play action passes will open up.

He was still holding on to the ball to long. i really hope that when the season starts we see a much better Cassel. The way the D played last night If the offense i just a top 15 offense we should win more games this season. :chieflogo:

sure we can throw down field. If not with us running so good and all cassel throws is short stuff, all 11 guys willbe in the box.
I just dont have faith in cassel. Not saying he plain stinks but no faith in him taking us to the next levels.

I'm hoping that he continues to develop into the role he's been given.

He has gotten better about holding onto the ball. Still cant throw down field. And fast thinking with the ball is also hurting.
He has gotten better but not a QB to take us to, or should i say deep in the playoffs.

Agreed, unfortunately we are tied into Cassel because of his contract; so I'm hoping he continues to improve.
